SNOBLIND SOUND SYSTEM

 Artefracture is getting ready to roll out its latest skullfuck which will see electro-thrash-pop weirdness from SHiTHoTCYNiCS backed with the mind-melting eclectic grandeur of a single 24-minute masterwork from Snoblind. Topping it off is the 'Dancing on War' painting incorporated into the evocative artwork, courtesy of artist, graphic designer and musician Jeroen Brulez.

About C O L D W A R:
Initially slated to be one of the first releases on the Artefracture label last September, this split release between SHiTHoTCYNICS and Snoblind became an all-consuming monster feeding off waking hours as the two acts involved slaved over hot recording consoles adding layer after searing layer to make something truly great.

The end product 'C O L D W A R' slams together clashing tones and ingenious hooks to make for an abrasive, yet ultimately rewarding listen. Starting off with five rapid-fire missives from SHiTHoTCYNiCS mixing the energy of punk rock and hardcore with an industrial slam and kitchy, yet intricate Casiotones, the thrash segways into the centrepiece of the collaboration - Snoblind's 24-minute-long glitch-to-dub-to-trip-hop-to-hip-hop composition 'Bombshelter Suites'.

While both outfits have been wide-reaching in the ideas covered with previous releases this time round they're setting new standards for themselves, for the definition and expectation of what Hong Kong-based artists are capable of envisioning and for the wider perception of electronic music as a whole. This is not dance music, this is not a cold, insipid collection of club-ready hipster bangers; 'C O L D W A R' lives, breathes and progresses through an arch to break new ground.

Snoblind :
An army of two cranking out surreal visuals with brooding beats, thumping bassline and cinematic atmosphere. They do not push envelopes as they are the envelopes.
